for example,

just the FLOOR of my Ram Van is bascially 6' wide x 12' long and I'd want to do more (like the body sides etc.)

How much would I need to do the floor ? I don't know what size the rolls come in ....

PLUS

Will the stock screws still work when I go to install the plastic outer trim that basically helps hold the carpet down ?

never done this before .... as you can probably tell

if you buy rolls of it, its usually a foot wide and as long as you order it, that way its easy for them to measure. i actually have a 30 foot roll of elemental designs top deadning i need to sell, i went overboard with like 100 feet on my car, couldnt use it all.

by the way, double up the doors well before you even think about starting the floor. firewall and wheel wells are also good to do.

I was going to recommend eDead from Elemental Designs. Just make sure you get V1se2, and not the regular v1. V1 is asphalt based, whereas V1se2 is butyl based.

Would you suggest this stuff for a floor and roof on my truck. I just finished ripping out the interior and I want to do some sound deadening but dont want to go all out on dynamat. Just something that will greatly reduce the noise considering its bagged. If so I might consider buying that extra from you.

I still have two 30 foot rolls and about 15 feet of the teklite which is made for the roof. I never ended up doing anything more than the doors and trunk, didnt want to gut the interior.

I can attest to the stuff actually working as I had 8" midbass in my doors. I first deadened the passenger door, left the drivers undone, cranked the stereo and got out the car and listened next to each door. passenger door was solid, could hear the music but no rattles. drivers door was a different story, I could hear all the door rattling from the outside if i put my head close to the door. I did get pretty crazy on the doors, it was doubled up and tripled up in some areas, but it was well worth it, i think i used a full 30 feet on the doors.

anyways if you're interested I'll let it go for a good price. ED sells 60 feet on ebay for $80 plus $25 shipping with a dynamat roller. I never got the roller with my order and dont see why you would need it. the stuff is so easy to work with, its like putting a bumper sticker on a car. I'll let it go for $50 plus the same $25 for shipping (its not light). If youre interested in the teklite stuff thats lighter and designed for the roof let me know, ill have to double check how much I have of that.
