well, things just aren't going my way right now...i finally got the truck out of the shop where it had been for six months...the only reason i let it stay that long is becuz i'm a nice guy, but i finally had to put my foot down...well, i got it back in hopes of getting my new paint done...i've pretty much got it mapped out and know what i want now...i've talked with three painters so far, and i'm very interested in two of them doing the work...so today, i find out that my little brother is prolly gonna be using my daily driver (mom's old car) once he goes to school in Florida at the end of this year...well, i live with my sister and her family while i'm in school, and i commute from about 40 mins. or so away...so, now that i'm gonna be prolly having to drive my truck daily, i don't even wanna spend my valuable money on a nice paint job anymore...i have 3 nephews and a niece who are young and don't know how to respect a vehicle yet...plus the roads aren't the best, and i'd be enduring the winter, rain, and whatever other hazards i might meet on the road or at school...it's just not worth it to me...so, needless to say, i don't guess i'll be getting my new paint...rather, i think i'm just gonna finish primering the truck so it's all one color...then i'll just finish up some more of the interior, and i need some new tires as well...i guess it'll allow me time to do some other odds n ends, but i was really looking forward to new paint...this is the second year that i've had my paint plans put on hold...but sometimes life steps in and ruins plans, but i know that good always comes to those who are patient...it's just that when things like this happen, i lose even more interest in the truck...but, hopefully nobody will steal my paint idea before i get around to it again...oh well
