I have been wanting to put a final coat of *something* on my camaro to give it the flat "hotrod" look found on hotrods (usualy black, but I want medium greyish) Primer stains and scratches very easily, and I'm looking for something more durable.

I have been told everything from rustoleum (with something added in it to thin it out), to epoxy primer, to regular paint with satin/flattening agent added.

whats the best way? I'm looking for something very strong, that won't stain or scratch easily, and doesn't have much shine to it at all.

This will be on mostly metal, and some urethane parts (bumper covers, and ground effects on a camaro)

thanks!
