Whats up guys. I haven't posted on here in so long my old user name and password are mia, but I wanted to post some pics of my S10 project. I'm building a complete new frame with mandrel bent rails. The frame is made up of a front clip and rear clip because of the substantial difference in the width of the rear rails. The rear is pretty narrow, as I am using an irs from an rx7. The rear clip is nearly done, with the exception of air tank mounts(2 SS 5-gallons), compressor mounts(2 chrome viair 450's), and mounts for two Optima batteries. For the front set-up I'm using a custom ifs made to my specs from Scotts Hot Rods. It has all custom control arms, dropped spindles, rack steering, etc. Its along the lines of a mustang II set-up, but way cleaner. Plus it gets enough lift to untuck the 20's on the front. I can hopefully weld up the front rails next weekend, then weld the front and rear halves together to get a rolling chassis finally. I won't have to do a traditional body drop for the rockers to lay, only cut some channels for the front frame rails to clear. The bed is a stepside bed, and will have no floor to see the rear stuff. Sorry for the long post, heres a few pics...........
