I am looking to lift my slammed truck up about 4 inches. If anyone has ideas of what parts I will need to do this is the cheapest, but correct way I would appreciate it. I am going to be doing the work on my own, I am pretty good with tools and am very handy. Any ideas would be great.

What kind of truck? Do you have any idea what parts were used to lower it, or the amount it was lowered?

it is a 99 silverado reg cab step side... the rear leaf spring was just mounted below the axle with lowering shackles. It also has a 2 ch air ride kit on it. The front was almost completely redone with Bell Tech parts. I talked to a guy at 4wheel parts and he told me that I was going to need NEW lower control arms, NEW springs, NEW spindles, and NEW sway bar end links. I think I can handle doing the rear on my own with out having to buy too much stuff. But the front is a different story.

If your truck has an axle flip and a drop shackle means the back is probably 7 or 8 inches lower than stock. You could flip the axle back on top of the leafs, that would lift it 6 inches in back. Or you could change the drop shackle for a stock or lift shackle, that might raise it anywhere from 2 to 3.5 inches depending.

You said you have Belltech parts on the front, but they don't make a drop control arm. They make a 2-inch drop spindle and drop springs (2 or 3 inch, but yours could have been cut for more drop). So you'll need stock spindles and springs. Check your control arms, the stock ones are cast, whereas aftermarket ones are fabricated from tubing and plate steel. So you can tell by looking if they've been changed.

Is it possible to make the rest of the changes without changing the control arms? If I keep the control arms that are on it now and change the spindles and springs how high will it lift it? For the time being I am planning on flipping the spring back and keeping the lowering shackles.
On the front I need to figure out a cheap way to lift it back up a few inches. Not all the way up to stock but close. Maybe 7-8 inches because the truck has a slight rake even with the bags deflated all the way in the back.

Sure you could keep the control arms. If they are dropped arms they could be 2 or 3 inch. Drop spindles are 2 inches. And the springs could be 2 or 3 inches of drop (if not more). Swap the spindles and springs for stock ones and see where that gets you.
